The Crabby Paddy is a very homey, bright, and cheery unit that is a very short walk to the ocean! Simple, yet charming decor throughout that makes it feel so cozy. You'll feel right at home with all of the amenities and then some. Walk down to hear the waves crash and wiggle your toes in the sand no matter what time of year you visit. Catch the gorgeous sunsets, build a fire & roast s'mores on the beach! There is even room to park a small boat/trailer under the unit.

Barrier Dunes is a gated, townhouse, beach community on Cape San Blas. It is off-the-beaten-path and sits back off the road. It is immaculately maintained and is quiet and friendly! You'll see some guests renting the units such as yourselves, but there are also those who live there year round. It is easy to get around inside the community. Walk to the ponds, walk to the beach, walk to the pools, walk to the tennis courts, and walk to the playground! Everything is a really short walk! Oh, you can even walk to the closest restaurant, Coneheads, just outside of the neighborhood. Maybe a 6-10 minute walk. And don't forget to walk down to the beach at sunset! It does not disappoint! Managed by the owner and not a property management company so you have someone who cares about the property and is readily available when needed!

+You have access to all spaces in the unit except the Owner's Closet. There is space to hang your things and/or a dresser to store your clothes. +You have access to both pools, tennis/pickleball courts, and playground
Good to know
You have all the comforts of home with two comfortable beds! BATHROOM: Linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap/toilet paper, hair dryer in each bathroom for your convenience. Should be enough to get your through your stay! KITCHEN: stocked with pots, pans, casserole dishes, serving pieces, plates, bowls, utensils, knives, wine opener, blender, mini waffle maker, toaster, and pretty much anything you need for meal prep. +Basic spices, and then some, paper towels, mayo, ketchup, mustard in frig (and then some) should be enough to get you started and possibly for your whole stay. +Cleaning supplies under the sinks if needed. +Candy jar on kitchen counter for your sweet tooth! +Charcuterie board to create your own masterpiece. COFFEE BAR: has a dual Keurig with option for just one K-Cup or to make a whole pot of coffee. Some coffee pods and grounds provided to get you started and has some flavored syrups, too! BEACH: 2 Boogies boards, 4 beach chairs, 1 backpack cooler, 1 umbrella, 1 beach cart to haul items down to beach, 2 Kadema paddles + ball, beach towels (in laundry room basket) (Unless they were removed from the unit from previous guest) +Games (Scrabble, Checkers, Backgammon, Scattergories, What the Meme, Cards of Humanity, a deck of cards), maybe some beach reads, all in family room. (Unless they were removed from unit from previous guest) +TV in family room with Fire Stick to log into your streaming apps. Smart TV in Primary bedroom. TV in Guest Room with Firestick to log into your streaming apps . +Area at the end of the street and on other side of the tennis courts for boat/trailer parking (first come/first serve) or small boats/trailers would fit in the unit's carport.
Other Details to Note
Recommended to use a credit card that has insurance in case of a cancellation needed for extreme circumstances, such as severe weather conditions or medical issues that prevent you from your stay. St. Joesph Bay Golf Club nearby in Port St. Joe. No membership needed. Guests can call to schedule play. It has a bar and restaurant! They also have Men's and women's play days where you can play with others or just call and schedule to play with your own group. Nominal fee as far as golf courses go.

Parking underneath the unit which has a carport/driveway that can fit two cars tandem. Small boats and trailers could possibly fit. No parking is allowed on the street. There is first come, first served, overflow parking at the end of our street for boat trailers, extra cars, etc. The neighborhood is walkable to beach, pools, playground, tennis/pickleball courts. Will need a car to get to some restaurants or local grocery and businesses. You can bring your bikes! The kids can cruise around the gated community called, Barrier Dunes, safely. There is a bike/walking path just outside of the neighborhood on the main road and runs the length of Cape San Blas Rd. I believe it is about 8 miles.
